My story started 17 yrs ago when a young couple about to have twins choose me and the cul de sac I belong to as their ideal home to raise their soon to be busy family. A bungalow afforded them more open areas for their twins to play and a much larger basement than most two storeys. The lower level became over the years a well developed and utilized space. I have undergone a few fantastic renovations over the years….
I have had a new roof in the last few years, and some summer time heat relief with an AC unit. A killer fireplace redesign with rugged rock and mantle complemented by new paint that reflects a true rocky mountain charm. In fact this is my family’s favorite room to gather for movies and family time. The most significant renovation was the opening of the kitchen – a wall was removed and a brand new gourmet kitchen was installed. This now allows the family cook (Mom) to prep meals and chill with the kids over the breakfast bar that now holds three kids plus friends! As my family grew two of their kids took bedrooms in the basement and the third main floor bedroom turned into an efficient mudroom. Perfect for laundry, sports bags, backpacks and place to unload and not cause major traffic jams. This room can easily convert back to a bedroom. My family has not moved far away,in fact just a few blocks away. They will miss the cul de sac parties: a communal gathering for kids playing and growing up together and parents enjoying a front yard bevy. I am now looking for a new family to fill my rooms again with laughter and years of enjoyment.

Original home owners picked this lot based on location. Backing on to trees and home to many local birds who frequent the bird house for daily treats. The resident squirrel also likes to get in on the bird seed action too…but he may be alittle too fat now to get inside the birdhouse! My “Story”
I was born during the building boom of 2005. My original owners (and current owners) chose me because of my lot location…I have lovely trees that line the back of my yard – and a fabulous bird house that gets lots of frequent feeders..even the local squirrel likes to get in on the buffet.
My owners bought me as a spec home but went to great lengths to ensure that I had the right upgrades including the right colour/type of carpet for durability and fashion sense. The right shades of grey were chosen throughout the kitchen and master bedroom as accent colours to complement the lighter tones of the cabinetry and walls. I had a custom mirror installed on my main floor powder room along with subway tile making me look like a hotel spa! My owners also installed the same fabulous subway tile in the kitchen – another one to add to the upgrades.
My owners favourite room in the house has got to be the upstairs family room. This room basks in the sun all day long – making it ideal for morning coffees to late afternoon football games. The master bedroom overlooks my backyard. Another area my owners have taken great pride in their ‘green thumb’ skills. A new pressure treated deck with railing was built just for me – and the extensive landscaping is a treat for both me and our feathered friends!
My owners wanted you to know that they have great neighbors and that they will miss them when they move. My owners are taking flight to a new ‘nest’ down south and are looking for the right family to fill this house with many more good years of memorable moments.
